Spring Term Topic: Wonderful Wheels

This spring term, our nursery is excited to explore the theme “Wonderful Wheels!” We will dive into the fascinating world of vehicles - both real and toy versions - through lots of fun, hands-on activities.

What will we be learning?

• Exploring Vehicles: From cars and buses to bikes and scooters, children will discover different types of vehicles they see every day.

• Real-Life and Toy Vehicles: We’ll look closely at real vehicles around us and compare them to our toy collections, sparking curiosity and learning.

• Fun, Hands-On Activities: Children will enjoy building, painting, and racing vehicles, role-playing as drivers and passengers, and creating their own wheels and transports.

• Seize the Season – Spring: Alongside our vehicle adventures, we’ll celebrate spring by exploring new growth, flowers, and changes in nature through outdoor play, art, and sensory activities.

Our “Wonderful Wheels” topic is designed to inspire exploration, develop language and motor skills, and connect children with the exciting world around them during the fresh and lively season of spring.
