Cwmaber is collaboration of two small, nurturing  schools with big ambitions to create curious, caring and confident learners for the future of our community. We celebrate our similarities and differences, alongside everyone’s achievements, creating a nurturing environment for learning to flourish.

Our vision is to develop ambitious, independent and passionate individuals who are motivated and prepared for an exciting and ever changing future, where resilience and problem solving is key. We want our children to be aware of global, national and local issues, helping them feel that they can make a difference.

We believe that we play a pivotal role in the community and are committed to supporting our families by building positive relationships based on trust.

At Cwmaber the wellbeing of our pupils is at the heart of our curriculum, which is rooted in Welsh values and culture. We have a strong commitment to providing exciting, challenging and authentic learning experiences which are carefully matched to the needs of the child. We believe that even the youngest learner has the right to be involved in decision making so we ensure pupil voice is key to our pupil driven curriculum.
