We are the Year Two Class at Cwmaber Infants and your teacher is Mrs Cribb/Mrs Evans with Mrs Hughes.

PE will be on a Thursday so please could the children wear/bring suitable footwear on these days. 

We ask that reading books and yellow reading diaries are returned to school every day, and we will make it our best effort to read and complete word box spellings with the children daily. 

Numeracy Scrapbooks/Learning Logs are given out fortnightly on a Thursday. We appreciate your support with reading, spellings and Numeracy Activities/Learning Logs- Please make comments wherever possible. 

Our online programs are currently  Doodle Maths, Reading Eggs and Purple Mash so please use these to support your child's learning at home. They are free to practise as much as possible outside school, in order to reinforce number, literacy and digital skills.

Children are encouraged to be as independent and healthy as possible, so prepare their own snack every day in school. We ask parents and Carers for a weekly donation of £1 to help towards the cost. This can be paid termly or half termly if this is easier. Please send a labelled water bottle to school every day (no juices or squash please- just water).

In the warmer weather, we would like children to wear a sun hat and sun cream.

Please clearly label all cardigans and jumpers.
