School Uniform

The School and Governing Body are mindful of the Human Rights Act 1998 and the Equality Act 2010 in its uniform policy and regulations. It is the intention of the School and Governing Body that our uniform facilitates race, religious and disability equality.

To this end, the School and Governing Body aims to act reasonably in accommodating religious requirements. The Governing Body will consider any request to vary the policy to meet the needs of any individual pupil to accommodate religion or belief.

Uniform will always be practical such that it does not adversely affect disabled pupils. Parents may request a reasonable adjustment of uniform if this is an issue for a disabled pupil.

Our uniform does not discriminate on the basis of gender. It is suitable in style to both sexes.
