Spellings
We do weekly spellings in class where we focus on words that they may now be becoming familiar with in their reading, writing, and everyday routine within Year One. We focus on 10 spellings a week, which include two 'tricky' words. These are known as tricky words because they are not spelt how they would be decoded or sounded out.
This will also be checked for handwriting and letter formation too.
