Welcome to Class One!

We are the Year One Class at Cwmaber Infants and your teacher is Miss Harris with Mrs Davies and Miss Williams. 

Our topic this term is 'Remember, Remember - Parties'. We will be focusing on parties, now and in the past, whilst comparing them to find the similiarties and differences. We will be looking at how party food is made, along with decorations and gift giving supplies. This will lead the children through their learning journey, showcasing a change in parties over time. Our text focus is 'A Dark, Dark Tale', identifying features of stories, leading the children up to retell the story whilst changing the ending.

PE will be on a Thursday so please could the children wear/bring suitable footwear on these days. 

We ask that reading books and yellow reading diaries are returned to school every day, and we will make it our best effort to read and complete word box spellings with the children daily. 

Learning Log tasks will be given out on Fridays - either in the learning log book or through purple mash, doodle learning or reading eggs.
