Ambassadors
The School Ambassadors are selected from pupils in the Year 1 class, at the end of the Summer term and begin their role in the September when they start Year 2. They represent our school during special events, such as visits to the Senghenydd Memorial, singing in The Care Home, visits to other schools.
They also take on the important job of welcoming visitors to our school and help to support in other ways- e.g. Selling raffle tickets and Welsh cakes, being in charge of a stall in the Christmas or Summer fete.
They help to share the school priorities through the child friendly School Development Plan
The ambassadors work closely with Mrs Cribb to ensure Children's Rights are embedded across the school. They plan special events throughout the year, that link to the United Nations Rights of the Child.
We are delighted that we have recently achieved the Rights Respecting Schools Gold Award in collaboration with the Junior school.
The Techno Tribe Committee is supported by Miss Harris and provides pupil voice across the school. Members have regular meetings to discuss ways to develop ICT and digital learning across the school.
Members contribute to the implementation of the Digital Competency Framework. Their role is to effectively promote to pupils and the school community as a whole how to keep safe and be responsible when online.
The ambassadors also act as Digital and E safety Leaders, offering help and guidance in using the internet safely.
