Cwmaber Infant & Junior Schools

Ambassadors

The School Ambassadors are represented by groups from Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. They represent our school during special events, such as visits to the Senghenydd Memorial, singing in The Care Home, visits to other schools.

They also take on the important job of welcoming visitors to our school and help to support in other ways- e.g. Selling raffle tickets and Welsh cakes, being in charge of a stall in the Christmas or Summer fete.

They help to share the school priorities through the child friendly School Development Plan and help to make changes linked to Teaching and Learning.

The ambassadors work closely with Mrs Cribb to ensure Children's Rights are embedded across the school. They plan special events throughout the year, that link to the United Nations Rights of the Child.

We are delighted that we have recently achieved the Rights Respecting Schools Gold  Award in collaboration with the Junior school.

The ambassadors also act as Digital and E safety Leaders, offering help and guidance in using the internet safely.
