    Our Outdoor Water Area

In our nursery, we have a Water Area where children can explore, experiment, and have lots of fun with water play.

Why do we have an Outdoor Water Area?

    • Encourages Exploration and Curiosity: Water play lets children discover how water moves, flows, and changes, sparking their natural curiosity about the world.

    • Supports Sensory Development: Playing with water provides a rich sensory experience, helping children learn through touch, sight, and sound.

    • Develops Fine Motor Skills: Pouring, scooping, and splashing help strengthen hand muscles and improve coordination.

    • Promotes Social Skills: Children work together to share tools and solve problems during water play, building teamwork and communication.

    • Enhances Understanding of Science and Math: Water play introduces concepts like volume, measurement, and cause and effect in a hands-on way.

    • Provides Outdoor Learning and Fresh Air: Being outside boosts children’s health and well-being while they learn through play.
